Protected Downloads First
Start with digital delivery, then pick the right channel
If you’re still deciding how to use Go!BrightCart, start with the protected-download flow, then choose hosted storefront, WordPress, embeds, services, or subscriptions as needed.
Digital fulfillment controls what the customer receives after purchase. In Go!BrightCart, that means selling a protected digital download without building a full store or stitching together separate checkout and file-delivery tools.
Every plan supports paid protected downloads. Launch uses tighter file, bundle, download, and expiry limits; paid plans expand those limits.
Delivery types
- File download when Go!BrightCart should deliver the actual protected file.
- License key / code when each buyer should receive a software key, serial number, or redemption code from your saved pool.
- Prompt / AI workflow when the buyer should receive copyable prompts, variables, usage instructions, example output, or a Custom GPT or automation link.
- External link when access lives in another system or platform.
- Instructions only when the customer mainly needs guidance, codes, or next steps.
Recommended approach
Pick the method that is most reliable for the buyer. Simpler is usually better.
- Use protected hosted downloads when possible for the clearest buyer experience.
- Use license key delivery when access depends on a unique code per purchase or per seat.
- Use prompt workflow delivery when the product is a prompt pack, AI workflow, Custom GPT resource, or automation recipe.
- Use external links only when the destination is stable and intentional.
- Add instructions whenever the customer needs context to use what they bought.
Template packs and prompt libraries
If the product is a Notion template, Canva kit, prompt library, Custom GPT resource, spreadsheet tool, website theme, or similar reusable asset, enable Template Pack Discovery in the digital fulfillment area.
Template fields can describe:
- pack type
- platforms
- use cases
- buyer roles
- formats
- skill level
- license scope
- setup time
- update policy
- compatibility notes
- what buyers get
- primary prompt or quick-start copy
These details can appear on product pages, storefront filters, and buyer vault filters. For the full option list, read Sell Template Packs And Prompt Libraries.
Samples, versions, and license tiers
For digital products that benefit from buyer evaluation, add a preview sample. A sample can be a public PDF or image, or a short text excerpt. Keep samples small and intentional because they are visible before checkout.
Use version metadata when you publish or update a digital product:
- Version for the release label, such as
v1.0 - Changelog for what changed
- Access policy for whether updates apply to all buyers or only new buyers
- Notify buyers when the update should create buyer-facing update messaging
Use license tiers when different rights deserve different prices. Common tiers include Personal, Commercial, Client Work, and Team.
Buyer vault expectation
After checkout, buyers should understand that they can return to their secure buyer vault for:
- Download access
- Prompt workflow copy and links
- Order history
- License codes
- License tier evidence
- Version and update status
- Support requests
- Expired or limit-reached status messages
For template packs, the vault can also be searched or filtered by platform, license scope, update availability, prompt copy, or license proof.
Limits and expiry
Download limits and expiry windows are optional on plans that allow unlimited access. Add them only when they reflect a real licensing or support requirement. On Launch, use the displayed defaults and maximums so your offer stays inside plan limits.
